A little about me...

I'm Emily Bullock, a junior generalist and 3D artist looking for work. I'm accomplished in 3D arts and enjoy using my skills to develop compelling narratives and concepts. I graduated from Murdoch University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Creative Media, majoring in Game Art & Design. While studying, my work was recognised and nominated for various awards and scholarships. The culmination of all my work during this course resulted in a 3.326 GPA (83.15%).

I applied to study various digital art and graphic design undergraduate courses at Murdoch and Curtin. Through the portfolio pathway, I was successful for all applications and chose my dream course at Murdoch of Game Art & Design.

Started tertiary education with HD average

I have an eye for detail which pushed me achieve my best. It's with this keen eye and hard work I was able to achieve a HD average with future honor role prospects.


Nominated for New Colombo Plan scholarship

The NCP scholarship provides students the opportunity to study across the Indo-Pacific and network with other students or mentors for career opportunities.

Started work at Force Technology

I currently work at Force - a distribution warehouse for phone accessories. My job as warehouse assistant is to carefully package and organise the products.


Awarded Vice Chancellor’s Award

The VCA for academic excellence is an award for students achieving the top 2% of all Bachelor degree studies in Murdoch University.

Developed and showcased a completed video game

As the designated 3D artist and design lead, I was key to the production pipeline and deemed effective for my aforementioned eye for detail and consistency. As such, I almost was the team leader in the second semester.

This project gave me the experience of working in a game development team. I learnt how to work to each other’s strengths, to communicate with those with differing styles of communication and more.

Graduating

This year I am graduating in late September however, with my academic achievements in mind, there is the potential of studying an honours degree for a year. Ideally, I’d practise my skills in an industry job as I learn and research more about this beloved area.
